Summer Fun at City Square Mall

[Invite]

If you're wondering what to do this June holidays with your kids, you could bring them to an imaginary beach party with Barney at City Square Mall!

Though holidays doesn't make a difference for Clovine yet as she's in K2, but I'll always look forward to the holidays as there's lots of activities around!

In order to get a good seat to catch the show at 4pm, we arrived at 3.30pm but the stage area was already filled with people! Lucky we still managed to sit down at the side of the stage with a slightly blocked view. So do go even earlier if you intend to go on weekends or you can also go to level 2 for a good view right infront of the stage.

Check out the amount of people there! Shows how popular Barney is among children and families!

Despite having a blocked view, Clovine still enjoyed herself watching her favourite childhood characters perform all her familiar songs!

We also had a chance to meet Barney and Friends after the show for a picture!
All you had to do is spend $50 at the mall to redeem a meet and greet pass one hour before the show! Do note that it's only 50 passes per show.

Barney's Beach Party 'Live' Show
Date: 4 - 19 June (Daily except Mondays)
Time: 2pm & 7pm (Tue - Fri); 1pm, 4pm & 7pm (Sat & Sun)
Venue: City Square Mall, L1 Atrium

Summer Splash Carnival
Date: 27 May - 26 June
Time: 1pm - 10pm Daily
Venue: Level 1, City Green (Outdoor park)

Other than a 'live' show, there's also a carnival right outside the mall for the kids!

Clovine was super duper excited and can't wait to play the boat but when the person carried her into the boat, she immediately wanted to come out. She said she the boat was shaky and she's scared. Omg.
Many thought she's a tough girl based on her outspoken character but no she's actually as timid as a mouse. The other she requested to go on the bouncy castle at the Punggol Funfair and once again she backed out once she stepped on it because it was shaky. Wah really gek till cannot.

Since risky stuffs are not her kind, we went for the totally no risk activity which is the sand pit.

Clovine's fun = no risk

All smiles again at her favourite sand pit! Well was still hoping she'd be adventurous so that I could have company at theme parks but well she's just like her dad, no riskers.

Plus spend $200 or $300(for Fairprice receipts) and receive a beach survival kit which consist of a 12 can cooler bag and a beach mat!

It's so pretty and I can't wait to use it for a picnic at Sentosa or Marina Barrage when Caleb is slightly older!

Other than activities for the kids, there's also lots of shopping for the adults. One of the interesting store is Decathlon, a French sporting goods retailer, which has just opened their first store in City Square Mall!
It's really huge and there's definitely something for the whole family from the young ones to the adults. Clovine had fun looking through all the sports accessories for her bicycle and Hubby was engrossed with his weight lifts. He couldn't resist not getting another weight lift which is so much cheaper than other retailing stores!
We're definitely looking forward to go back to the store again for more sports wear and equipments since it's so affordable!

Thank you City Square for having our family there and I can't wait to visit the mall again!
