Penang 6-7 'Feb (Day 2)

Stayed in Guest inn Muntri, inn for a night at Penang!

Our room for the night with a queen sized bed and toilet for around RM100 a night!
Its a small inn with smaller rooms without build in toilet for like RM80 a night but the common toilets are not far just a little inconvenient for those with kids/babies.

Woke up a little too early as I'm not used to sleeping in hotels and stuffs. So I went out to use wifi!

Me with specs without lenses. Pardon my small pupils :(
Idk why my pupils became smaller after I started on contact lenses since Pri 6.
Does it affect? Can make it return to original size anot ah? Lol.

Love taking pictures using Hubby's Iphone 5. The lighting is awesome one unlike  Iphone 4's dark, black and grainy front camera!

Getting bored waiting for Hubby to prepare so I took a stupid photo.

Awwwwwww~ The reason why I'm neglected and jealous all the time!
Too sweet and loving liao! Buey tahan!

Comfy lobby with stronger free wifi, pool table and water cooler!

Overall the place is clean and good for short trips. Very popular place with backpackers who are mostly Caucasians.

Old kind of carpark paying machine which can't be found in singapore anymore.
Quite cool right?

Settled down at a nearby coffee shop for lunch.

Wu xiang!

Olden days kind of coffee shops!
I don't why but this kind of old kind of life makes me feel more relax and at ease then life in singapore which is full of ppl and buildings.
And surprisingly I prefer this kind of kampong lifestyle where everything is simple.

Not something fanciful but its just has the x factor to make you crave for more!

After lunch was some fun! Headed over to Penang Hill!

Our tram tickets! It was triple the price of a malaysian for my ticket as I'm a foreigner who did not bring her passport also! Cost RM30 for a two way ticket when M'sians only need to pay RM8!

Boarding the tram to head up to the peak!

Group picture for the childhood friends!
Envy how their friendship can still be so strong and close even though they rarely meet up after secondary!
Lots of stuffs to talk about one.

It's very very steep up the hill! Steeper than The peak in Hongkong but not as high as it is.
And the tram was alot faster than the one in Hongkong and it kinda freaked hubby even more!
Lol. We kept making fun of him cos it seems like he's the only one in their clique thats afraid of height since young and like going on trips with them that involves height.

It was really hazy at the top.

Hubby was so relieved his stepping on solid hard ground. LOL
That's why I joked that he's a "Jiao ta shi di" de person.

Chung sing the white and Raymond the black!
Chungsing super fair please even fairer than me sia! ENVY!

Is someone missing?
Nope! Clovine has been sleeping after we board the tram and only woke up when we went down.
One good thing is Hubby can hugged her tightly on the tram to relieve his fear.

Family photo in two angles which Chungsing says its nicer. Lol.

Which I can't decide which angle is nicer so I posted both.

There's an owl museum which we gave a missed as it seems like its all art work of owls only instead of real living owls even though it only cost RM10 for a ticket.

Lots of swallows flying around!

Then it started drizzling a little so we sat down for a little break.

And how can we missed out on a group photo?

Cute birds having their bath and they are all puffed up!!

Was on our way down from the peak to the tram and we saw this creepy crawly ;/
I don't what it's called but they call it the "Huo che cong" meaning train worm.

A close up shot by Chungsing as he was laughing at how far I was standing to take its photo!
It's amazing to see such animals in the nature because you don't see it in SG!
That's why those kampong kia like to laugh at me for being so sampat!

While on the way down, there's a short train tunnel!

Hubby was fussing about sitting in the front of the tram as it shows the tracks below so we had no choice but to sit facing the back of the tracks. What a waste!

Very stern face.

It started raining heavily while we're on our way down so we had to take shelter first before going back to the car.

Little princess is awake!

After the rain stopped, we visited the famous Kek Lok Si temple which is just nearby!
Very huge temple which is still expanding!

Wishing lanterns all over the temple.

Clovine favourite is looking at fishies in the water.

"Xuanxuan zhe ge jiao yu. Jiang yuuuuu~"

"Yu yao yao ni oh."
This is how Daddy always talks to her little sweetie. VERY SWEETLY.

HAHAHA like a photoshoot where the photographer asks you to point here and there.

After Kek Lok Si, we went to takeaway Mcdonald's which was so crowded due to the Lunch time offer! You see, you'll still crave for Macdonald's even when you're in another country!
That's how successful they are.
