Dinosaurs: Dawn to Extinction

Here's a really late post that dates back to...

16 February 2014,

We decided to bring Clovine on her second Dinosaur exhibition at the Art Science Museum some time back!
The first dinosaur exhibition for her was the one at the science center. Honestly, I prefer this exhibition than the science centre one because this is more interesting with so many more facts and how the dinosaurs exists to evolve and become extinct! Not only is this only about dinosaurs, there are also facts of how other animals evolve from the dinosaur period.

Really interesting things to see to learn and I totally enjoyed reading the all facts!

Lots of fossils to see and facts to read! Most of them are real fossils too!

Most of the exhibits looks really convincing too!

Really find this kind of creatures really amazing because its a fish with legs and yet it also looks like a lizard and alien looking.
Its know as the Giant salamander and "wa wa yu" to the chinese.
If you've watched the River Monsters series you would have caught this creature being featured in one of the episodes!
Fyi, its not extinct yet and it has lived since the dinosaur age!

Clovine finally got down and walk on her after warming up for 30 mins! I find it really funny because she's always the one requesting to see dinosaurs and love dinosaurs but every time we enter the exhibition, she will say she's scared but after warming up she's back to normal again!
Whenever she's back to normal, she will request for us to start over the whole journey again! -.-"
Fyi, she's not really scared of dinosaurs because she watches jurassic park movies and have a whole collection of ugly real looking dinosaurs figures!

At the end of the exhibitions, there's a activities corner for kids and it's free with any ticket!
One of the activity is the making of the dinosaur puppet where the kids get to colour their dinosaurs!

Here's Clovine trying to trick his daddy into buying another dinosaur figurine for her!
Of cos I wouldn't allow because she already as a whole lot of them at home plus it's really expensive over there!
Like around $20+ for one small one!

Giving thanks to the man of our lives.

This man was the one who has been there for me when I found out Clovine. He was also the man who wakes up in the middle of the night to cater to her needs from newborn to now even when he had an extremely tired day at work.

For four years, this man has never failed to give his daughter the best and attends to her every needs.
This man is Clovine's daddy.

For all these years that he has been attending to two of the most troublesome women (Clovine & me) in his life, I swear he has the greatest patience ever because both of us are really really crazy women. Hahaha.
So yes despite all our dramas, he stayed on to continue giving us the best.

In order to thank the man who gave up so much so that he could give us the best, we made him a card on this special day also know as father's day!

I did the cover while Clovine did the contents in it!

So Clovine contributed the card's contents inside which I had a hard time making her follow what I write on a another paper!
Considered not bad liao hor? Hahaha.

Also, we've won a $100 robinsons voucher by entering the #Livegreatdad photo contest with one of my most satisfield photo of the father and daughter duo! Thank you Great Eastern for organising this contest and giving our best man the award!

So this is the photo I entered and its also one of my most satisfied photography creation!
Photo taken using Casio ZR1200 with some editing done with Photoscape!

Lastly, just wanna give a really big thank you to the man for being the most wonderful daddy to Clovine and also the most patient hubby to me!

We love you!

2 Degree Ice Art & Nakhon Kitchen

4 May 2014,

Visited the 2 Degree Ice Art last month with the peeps as seen above! The 2 degree ice art will be ending soon on 22 June 2014.

So this is where the exhibition is and its really really small inside.

This is the ice bar which is at the side.

Coats which you can rent there.

Fyi, Clovine is wearing 3 layers of clothing which consist of her long sleeves top, a denim jacket and this rented coat!
In the she still felt really cold so we didn't really stay long in there.

Lighting there was bad thus the bad quality photos...

There isn't really much to do and see there except for this slide.
So to us, it was really  quite a disappointment.

Here's hubby sliding down together with Clovine!

Haha Clovine look so cute like that! But look at her face turning red when we only stayed in there for less than 15 mins!
It was really cold!

As mentioned, there was really nothing fantastic to see and do except to experience the really cold temperature. So cold that many couldn't stay in there for long and we finished the whole visit in less than 30 mins. Conclusion was the place is good if you wanna experience the low temperature but not good if you really look forward to something fun and fantastic. Truth is it was quite a disappointment for all of us.

After we came out water vapour formed on my camera lens and it gave this kind of effect!

Nakhon Kitchen
After which, we headed over to Nakhon kitchen at Hougang for dinner! At least this did not disappoint us!
In fact we really enjoyed the meal because it was really good! There was a queue and we waited for around 45 mins but it was totally worth it!

My favourite is actually this honey chicken! Crispy and not very sweet.

Fragrant Pineapple rice.

Fried fish with the very appetising chili sauce.

Tom yam was a too spicy for me. Lol I'm a weakling for spice.

This is not any other drumstick you get outside, it's actually stuffed with meat and some other ingredients in it.

Glass noodle phat thai. Love love this also! So appetising for me because or this sweet and sour flavour in it.

Basil chicken is really nice too because the flavour is not too strong for me.

And how can we not have Thai style milk tea? Slurps*

This Thai restaurant is highly recommended even for people who are not crazy over thai food because this is really good authentic thai food! Must try!!!!
